Rhino List is part of an ongoing project in raising awareness to the Sumatran rhinoceros (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis). It is the most critically endangered of all rhino species. Fewer than 80 individuals remain in the wild, existing in several very small and highly fragmented populations. Sumatran rhinos face several significant threats including habitat destruction, encroachment, poaching, disease, and natural disasters. More coming soon!
